Every Changbaiwei skewer starts with fruit — whole, ripe, and carefully selected. Nothing frozen, nothing processed.

The fruit is skewered by hand on bamboo sticks, then dipped into hot sugar syrup cooked to exactly the right temperature. Too cool and it won't set. Too hot and it burns. The window is narrow, and it takes real skill to hit it every time.

The coated skewers are set on a cold marble slab, where the sugar hardens in seconds into that signature glassy, crackling shell.
